When I first began dreaming about Creativity Tribe, I knew I want it to be a space where I shared my gifts and encouraged others to share theirs. Imagining how an intention might come to light and witnessing it form into reality are often very different. Sure it might have an essence of what you imagine, but often there are twists and turns that make the reality so much richer and more beautiful than what you thought it might be.
This is the case with the giving spirit I wanted to cultivate at Creativity Tribe.
What originally was to be a quality I wanted to create for this web-space has blossomed into a practice that I am exploring in every aspect of my life.
- I play with what gift-ing feels like on a material, physical, relational, community, business, and spiritual level.
- I look for the gifts in others, not just here in the Creativity Tribe, but out in the world and in my own home.
- I watch for gifts from the Universe.
- I look for the gift hidden in a moment of difficulty.
And something amazing is happening! The more I give and the more I look, the more gifts I discover, the more beautiful and rich the world and those in it become.
This word -GIFT- will be my word for 2013. I am looking forward to the gift of this year and all the blessings tucked inside of it.
