I fell into teaching just out of college. I didn’t teach school in the traditional way, I taught teachers how to use creativity to teach most any subject. We used art, drama, drumming, and dance to help the kids learn through the Arts. Eventually, I began thinking about how creativity could help us learn about ourselves in new ways.
I followed my interest in learning to the study of self-exploration. I headed to college and got my Masters in Counseling. While in college, I used creativity to enhance my studies and incorporated the arts in the practice of counseling. I saw that the Arts could be stretched to fit in nearly any aspect of life.
In October of 2011, I began working on Creativity Tribe. My intention is to use creativity to enhance life, to help individuals activate their Creative Spirits and to give them opportunities for self-exploration through the Arts.
Teaching and coaching are great playmates! I blend the two, letting the relationship between myself and the Creatives I work with become a space where we can move along the journey they vision for themselves.
